OPEN A EBAY STORE - BE YOUR OWN BOSS

Ebay is the pioneer in internet buying and selling and it is still to this day the most popular website to sell
your items on. I began selling on eBay in 1999 and continued as an occasional
seller until  August of 2009, when I opened my ebay store. Ebay makes it easy to open a store and it
is a marvelous way to make extra money! Follow their easy step-by-step tutorials and your store will be up and running within hours

An eBay store requires a monthly fee, an insertion fee a paypal account and a final value fee when your item
sells.  You will find it best to open a store. A store has lower insertion fees and you are
able to have your items listed as "good until canceled".  Without a store your listing time is limited.
The ebay market exposure is greater than 100 million, which means your store will reach a bigger
market than an ecommerce site would. These are customers, you may have never reached.

I had made the decision to start an ebay store to generate some extra cash. I had an idea of what I wanted
to sell, but because I had only sold things at random on ebay, I decided to add a variety of items to see
where I wanted to be with my store. I cleaned my house, did some consignments, bought some items.
Within  four months I had a good feel of what I wanted my store to sell. Previously I had owned a retail business and I knew how important customer service was. When a customer buys from me, I let them know when I'm shipping, I enclose a note in their package, and once I receive their feedback I give them feedback. Feedback is very important on ebay.

I encourage you to try ebay! If you've never sold on ebay, go to their sitemap read everything that's there. Once you feel comfortable, open your store.

Good Luck on Ebay!!
